Princess Pavilion / Music
Date: Feb 03, 2006 - 12:55 PM
On Wednesday 15 February Pavilion & Flick productions present a must see event for any blues fan when Joe Bonamassa performs at Princess Pavilion...

'Smoking Joe' was playing blues licks note for note at 4 years old. At 11 he opened for B B King, received the legend’s blessing, and went on to perform with John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins and others. He scored his first major record deal while not yet a teenager and following many successful albums in 2003 (to celebrate the year of the blues) at the age of 26, he released the highly acclaimed Blues Deluxe as an homage to personal heroes. He owns 78 Guitars and gets his distinctive tones with multiple-amp setups. He uses 4 amps on stage!

His latest CD entitled Had To Cry Today continues where Blues Deluxe left off, mixing original and classic Blues into something wholly unique and electric.

Support on the night by Blue on Black; Cornish three-piece with their own style of ‘Renegade’ Red Hot Rock and Power Blues.

A rare event - don't miss it! Tickets are £10 Adv & £12 on the door - available from Princess Pavilion Box Office 01326 211222
