Events Ramon Vallejo, originally from Comayaguela, Honduras, has been singing, composing and leading Latin Salsa bands in the UK & Europe for twenty-five years...

K'Chevere


With a specially invited backing band musicians from K’Chevere, that includes members from Venezuela, Puerto Rica, Colombia, Cuba and Honduras, Ramon will be giving South-West audiences a unique opportunity to experience the authentic sounds of Latin Salsa at Mount Pleasant Eco Park on the 13th February 2016.

In the past Ramon worked with all the top salsa bands in the UK and London including Roberto Pla, Snowboy, and has performed and recorded with Felix Valoy from the Afro-Cuban All Stars and Ibrahim Ferrer from the Buena Vista Social Club. He has also shared a stage with Lance Ellington (Strictly Come Dancing singer) with Robin Jones & King Salsa.

In 2015 he met up with a gang of Latin musicians at the Tropical Pressure Festival and was inspired to dust off his ‘tubes’ and return to the stage!

The Cantina Cafe will be serving a specially devised menu of Latin Influenced World Tapas from 7.30pm to 9pm.
