Music The Princess Pavilion is used to welcoming plenty of international “Stars” but it’s not often that an “International Internet Phenomenon” graces the stage; Erik Mongrain is a perfect example of this new phenomenon...

Discovered playing guitar on a sidewalk, Erik Mongrain has become an international star with his amazing guitar tapping technique where he places the guitar on his lap and taps the chords as if it were a piano. His internet videos have now been seen by more than 3 million people around the world with special blogs, forums, web pages, and videos all talking about his incredible guitar playing.

Erik is constantly researching and exploring the world of music and for almost two years now he has resumed standard guitar posture and has been writing at tremendous speed songs in which the harmonies and melodies are profoundly inspired.
