This amazing band are making waves wherever they go - they've played Glastonbury, Brecon, and London jazz festivals as well as busking on the South Bank! Their debut album "Knee Deep in the North Sea" was shortlisted for the 2008 Mercury Music Prize and was Time Out's No.1 Jazz Folk and World Album of the Year.

Portico Quartet's music is wonderful but hard to classify - based around the plangent sound of hang drums and acoustic bass, with Jack Wylie's ethereal soprano sax weaving mesmerising riffs and melody to create a beautiful and harmonious - but quite mysterious - sound. Eclectic and accessible. Don't miss this rare visit to Cornwall - en route to Cheltenham Jazz festival and beyond.
