Music at the Star & Garter Yet another excellent Jazz night. Max was in funky mode, Claudia was swinging, and Robbie Brokenshire drove things along nicely in the absence of Pip (get well soon!).

Monty Ray fronted on trumpet and flugelhorn in his usual fine style. Ian Williams sat in for a few good ones on flugelhorn and probably caused Monty to stretch a bit for he finished with a great 500 Miles High.

Well, he would have finished, but demand was such that he had to try and top it which he almost did with a superb Caravan.

Well worth coming out for on a very cold night.
