Music Susie Moore of SW1 Productions sent us the following info on gigs at the Stannary this coming week...

Wednesday Feb 23rd The Rakes, Ludes and Speedball at The Stannary, Penryn. Tickets 5 on the door. Over 18s only. Doors 8pm.

    As part of a launch week at The Stannary to promote the venue to local people, a "Buzz Band" night featuring some top upcoming acts, The Rakes
    whose anticipated album release this summer is causing a few ripplies in the music industry, Ludes - credited with being the louchest band around
    and with staging some of the best shows in London at this time, and Speedball, the latest incarnation from St Agnes act Real-Y-T, featuring their new
    co-vocalist and frontman Kye.


Thurs 24th Feb at The Stannary, local band night. With My Elvis Blackout, Even Nine, Real-Y-T, Hedluv & Malibu Barny and newcomers WhiteRoom,
a showcase of some of the top local bands around in Cornwall at the moment. Tickets 3 on the door over 18s only. Doors 8pm


Saturday 26th Feb Jelly Jazz DJs Pete Isaacs and Griff visit the Stannary for another top night of funky latin and jazz grooves. They will be joined by funk band Reverend Cleatus and The Soul Survivors, whose lineup includes a Wurlitzer and horn section to augment their damn hard funky rhythm section. Tickets 9 on the door over 18s only.
