Events The Princess Pavilion, Falmouth launches its 2005 Spring Season with an extensive and eclectic list of shows with something for everyone...

Kicking off is Glenn Tilbrook, co-founder of Squeeze on 11 February, with The (original) Zombies Blunstone & Argent re-united on 24 February. Legendary guitarist and former member of Procol Harum Robin Trower plays on 14 April whilst another legend, this time from Hawkwind, Nik Turner, lands with his Space Ritual on 6 May. Jazz lovers can swing it with Pete Allen and his jazz band on 7 May, and one of the most popular live rhythm and blues acts in the world, Dr Feelgood, are set to raise your spirits on 21 May.

Some excellent tributes are also in the programme: M3 Classic Whitesnake (with 3 original band members) on 3 March, HellsBells AC/DC return in triumph on 11 March, The Joe Cocker Experience will Lift You Up on 23 April with Heath Ashton’s amazing ELVIS on 29 April. Bad Obsession play G’N’R’ on 20 May with the Really Hot Chili Peppers on 27 May and Sgt Pepper’s Only Dartboard Band perform the legendary Abbey Road album in its entirety plus Fab Four hits on 29 May.

For lovers of musicals Bray Theatre’s effervescent Ali Ba Ba family pantomime during Spring half term week will raise the roof, and Playrite Theatre Company who did the fantastic Les Miserables last year present a Cornish premier with the stage version of Cliff Richard’s Summer Holiday in April. Clairvoyant Steve Holbrook returns in April and you can bet Germaine Greer fresh from Celebrity Big Brother will have plenty to say in May.

In addition there is the Spring Flower show 19-20 March, Professional Wrestling 30 March and weekly dancing for lovers of Ballroom, Latin & Sequence.

The Princess Pavilion has increased its programme to become an all year venue. So why not get along, support LIVE entertainment and have a really great time!! Tickets in person or by phone/credit card 01326 211222 (Mon-Fri 9am-1pm). Programmes will be delivered to most households in Falmouth & Penryn W/C 7 February.
