Peregrinations I haven't been out much for a while but am delighted that there's plenty of good articles coming in from others - long may it continue!...

The S&G goes from strength to strength. We had a visit from Tim Whitehead who was in Truro to support a monthly jazz gig there (cafe in Lemon St?). We were pleased that he sat in for a while and, later, had a chat to Norma, whose bassist son, David, has played with him in London. See www.timwhitehead.co.uk. It was also nice to have Steve Turner back to join the band with his creative style of jazz guitar.

Last Monday, it was the excellent John Cox, who was joined for a while by Ilonka who dived in at the deep end and extemporised some French lyrics to Bye Bye Blackbird - something else!

I've just added a link to Kingsize who have local boy, Liam Bennett on drums. They may be down this way again!

I shall return to my torpor and save my meanderings for extra special gigs
