Local News This Sunday the FREE Falmouth Health and Well being Festival organised by FalChi (Fal Complementary Health Initiative) takes place at the Princess Pavilion...

Between 12:00 and 6:00 the programme offers taster sessions of different complementary therapies including Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Massage, Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, LaStone Therapy, Coaching, Healing, Colour Therapy, Reiki, Sports massage etc.

Workshops include: Yoga, Tai Chi, Healing, ITEC, Women’s Circle, Music Therapy, Relationship coaching, Colour therapy, ‘Desert Island Discs’, Last Rites, Ear Candling, Reflexology, Life coaching, Exercise therapy, Homeopathic First Aid, Optimum Nutrition, Time for Balance, Business skills, etc.

Speakers Corner: short introductions include: Fire walking, Aloe Vera, Cygnus books, LETS, Well Fit, 100, What is therapy? and many more. Plus bring your own ideas to share.

Shared wisdom ‘washing line’ is designed to give everyone the chance to share their tried and tested tips for health, wealth and happiness. A booklet of this local wisdom is intended to be produced after the event.

A raffle will take place, free tickets given to all who fill in the health and well being questionnaire, prizes of therapy sessions.

Entertainment: Classical guitar, Traditional Folk by the band Splinter. Creative skills and collage. Therapeutic juggling. Poetry and story telling and more.

The evening between 6:00 and 10:00 offers opportunities to try out many dance styles including Salsa, Jive, Circle, Line, Arabic and Celtic. The event ends with a Serpent dance.
